There are several different companies that sell electroinc cigarettes. Most companies have different flavor cartriges that you can purchase that don't contain any nicotine. Since they don't contain nictotine they are non addictive. I personally chose to go with a company called green smoke. Take a look at there website as they have alot of helpfull information.

I have a web site that does quite well selling electronic cigarettes. I won't shamelessly plug the site here but, I tell you this because I certainly would have a vested interest in telling you, "go ahead, they're cool man, no harm, no foul!"

The fact is, electronic cigarettes were invented to aid people who already smoke by providing a safer alternative. Many have quit smoking tobacco cigarettes by turning to these devices because they can still get their nicotine without all of the harmful cancer-causing substances found in traditional cigarettes. Most of those people, like myself, have simply substituted one extremely bad vice for one that is simply bad - due to the nicotine. Some have gradually lowered their nicotine intake by decreasing their nicotine levels and, fewer still, get to the point where they are smoking zero nicotine juices or cartridges. (There are tens of thousands who have gotten to zero nicotine and I don't want to belittle their accomplishment or make that sound like an insignificant number of people. It's just that there are far too many of us that haven't!)

So, technically, with no known significant cancer-causing agents and no nicotine, one might conclude that electronic cigarettes are perfectly safe. That's a big leap of faith, though. They have not been around for enough time for long term tests to have been done and, although dozens of tests have been done on them that proclaim them to be safer than cigarettes, no study or lab test that I am aware of has declared them "safe." I keep very up to date on all of the latest electronic cigarette news. Believe me, if there was such a test, vendors like myself would be shouting it from rooftops!

I get this question a lot and I always tell people the same thing. IF YOU DON'T ALREADY SMOKE, DON'T GET AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE! Surely there has to be some better way to be cool. Or, better yet, stop sweating the "cool" thing. Later in life you'll realize that the coolest people were the ones who stayed true to who they were. They usually are the most successful ones in terms of their careers and relationships, too!

It is really tough to instruct you without knowing what kind of e-cigarette you have. If it is a 3-piece, with a separate atomizer, battery and a cartridge that you can fill with e-liquid yourself, then it is all about the juice.

The higher the nicotine content, the more of a "throat hit" you will get. E-juices that have VG (vegetable glycerin) as a component put out a little more vapor. If you've got one of the over-hyped crappy models where you are stuck buying pre-filled cartridges, or worse, cartomizers from the manufacturer, there is nothing you can do.

If it is the flavor alone that you are trying to strengthen and you just can't seem to find an already-made one that satisfies your desires, you should look at making your own. You can do a search for "make my own e liquid" and find a plethora of sites that tell you how to do that with Lorann oils.

If you don't have a quality e-cigarette that permits you to use your own (or someone else's) e-liquid, you can get them pretty cheap at the links I have listed, below:

Polystyrene Man has the best answer so far. You won't get so much as a whisp of smoke without some sort of e-liquid. If you are only smoking socially at a pub, a $15 30ml bottle of no-nicotine e-juice will last you for months. If you can afford the drinks, surely you can afford that!

You can make your own cartridges easily enough. Save the tip of an old one and buy some fluval at your local pet store. Fluval is the mesh-like filler that is in an ecig cartridge. It is also used in fish tanks as filters. A box will cost a couple of dollars and last you a year!

I used to smoke 1 1/2 packs of Marlboros per day in did so for 25 years. After taking my first couple of puffs on an e-cigarette, I told my wife, "I could smoke this!" and never went back to my regular smokes after finishing up the pack I was on.

It all depends on the nicotine level of the e-juice you are using as far as the "pick me up" factor goes. I would suggest that anyone who is concerned about getting their nicotine fix, should get the Very High (24mg) of nicotine e-liquid to start out with and if they want to wean themselves off of their nicotine dependence, that they should gradually lower the nicotine levels in subsequent e-liquids that they use.

The nicotine is not what causes the cancer - the combustion of tobacco is what does. The nicotine is what keeps you "hooked" and what gives you the "pick me up."

Although the negative effects of nicotine are what the media likes to concentrate on (what a shock!), there have been many studies that show the positive effects of nicotine. Alertness and faster brain response are two of the factors that you cite that are definitely supported by the studies. It is also now being suggested that nicotine may very well be beneficial to people suffering from psychological disorders such as schizophrenia, Parkinson's, hyperactivity and Alzheimer's.

If you want to try an e-cigarette, the best two models are the Joye 510 and the DSE901. All of the forums support this. I get mine from and They seem to have the best prices!

You don't smoke. You never smoked and you will never smoke nor e-smoke. Be cool is some other way!
E-cigarettes are for current tobacco smokers only - with or without nicotine.

After the nicotine runs out there will be nothing left in the cartridge so, no, there will be no more vapor. If you're not wanting to buy more cartridges, you don't have to. What I do is use an empty cartridge and put a few drops of eliquid on the atomizer. It works great and when you stop getting vapor just put a couple more drops in it. Alternatively you can put drops in the cotton swab like stuff in a used cartridge and that works too, yet not nearly as well as dripping directly on the atomizer.

You can buy good quality eliquid here:

At that site you can choose the flavor, quantity and nicotine level of the eliquid.

Not all e-cigarettes are created equal. It’s important to educate yourself on the differences so you don’t end up going through a lot of unnecessary (and expensive) trial and error. Green Smoke will give you a realistic and satisfying smoking experience. It is convenient to use, is reliable and clean and has an extended battery life. This all adds up to make Green Smoke the best electronic cigarette choice for me.

Just found a great discount coupon.

Go here: for 10% coupon (minimum purchase is $100) or for 5% discount on any purchase.

Hope this helps!
