  1. Been using Greensmoke e cigarettes for several months now. I initially switched to them to try to stop smoking. I haven’t stopped yet but I sure do feel better that I am at least not inhaling over 3900 chemicals. Yes..I did some research…lol. There is only a few in electronic cigarettes. As far as harm, I still research the net and can not find any hard evidence from any organization (FDA..ete.) that they are hazardous.

  2. I think 50% of it for me is the action of smoking..the physical action of smoking and the other half was the actual nicotine. I quit after 5 years of smoking and my mother in law after 30 years with e-cigarettes.

To answer the safety question…common logic suggest they are MUCH MUCH safer than traditional cigarettes. 4000 chemicals vs a few and no tar, smoke or carcinogens. There hasnt been many studies done yet so most companies dont make health claims due to FDA regulations. THey are also much cheaper in the long run vs treaditional cigarettes.

I tried a few different brands before I found one that I like with the ProSmoke electronic cigarette. Their site is. Not spam, just offering you a choice since I had to buya few brands before I found one that tastes great and produced the same amount of vapor or more than a real cigarette. No reason to switch if it doesnt feel the same right?!!?

They also dont charge you every month for refills like other companies, you buy them as you need.

    Good luck!

  3. Hello!

Some say that using electronic cigarettes can help you quit smoking. Currently there is no scientific evidence for or against it. One option is to gradually lower the level of nicotine in your cartridges to become nicotine and tobacco free.
The other option is to smoke electronic cigarettes with zero nicotine cartridges while applying nicotine patches. That way you separate addiction and habit.

  4. It depends on what you mean by “quit smoking.” I smoked a pack-and-a-half of Marlboros a day for 25 years. After I tried my first e-cigarette (a Joye 510), I said to my wife, “I could smoke this!” I finished up the pack of Marlboros I was working on and never smoked another regular cigarette again.

That was more than 8 months ago. I had tried everything short of hypnotism and nothing worked for me until I got my e-cigarette. I still “smoke” my e-cigarettes, though. At least with them, I am not receiving the more than 40 known cancer-causing agents and the 4,000+ chemicals. I am still getting my nicotine, though, and it feels just like smoking. I have cut back on the nicotine level of the juice I am using, as well. I started with 24mg nicotine, then went to 18mg and am now “vaping” 11mg e-juice. So … am I still smoking? No. I am still vaping but stopped hacking up half a lung every morning within a week of switching.

I did a ton of research and continue to read every study I can on these things. There has yet to be a report that shows that they are in any way harmful. My doctor, in fact, is the one who recommended them to me!

I have tried half a dozen different e-cigarettes just to see what the differences are. The best ones on the market are the Joye 510, the DSE901 and the GreenSmoke. The Greensmoke is definitely a quality e-cigarette but no better than a Joye 510 or a DSE901. I would never recommend it, though, because it costs three times what a 901 or 510 costs and the supplies for it are triple to quadruple the cost. You see a lot of people promoting it because they get paid a healthy commission every time someone orders one after clicking through their link. Always look at the site someone is sending you to and see if they have some sort of “affiliate,” “become a dealer” or some sort of link like that on their site. If they do, chances are, you are being duped into buying something by somebody who is pretending they are trying to help you.

If you check out the e-cig forums, you’ll see that the consensus is that the Joye 510 (also called a Janty, Dura, Pilot and Yenti, amongst other things) and the DSE901 are the best two out there. You can get both starter kits from either or for around $40. That’s a heck of a lot less than the $120-$150 GreenSmoke is ripping people off for (of course, they do have to pay those commissions to all the people who provided “helpful” links to their site).

e-cigexpress.com is the only site I’ve seen that actually includes two atomizers with their DSE901 and I like the fact that there is actually a human being who will answer the phone and questions there.

    I hope this helps!

  5. E-cigarettes weren’t intended as a smoking cessation product. Although I know many people who have quit smoking traditional cigarettes altogether because of them including myself. The normal cravings I got from traditional cigarettes eventually disappeared. I love smoking my electronic cigarette from time to time, but I never feel a strong need or strong craving for it.
To answer you second question, E-cigarettes only have 20 ingredients in it which are all completely safe for humans including nicotine. Compare that to 4000 ingredients in regular cigarettes including arsenic, tar, and many other harmful and cancer causing chemicals. E-cigs have under 1% of the health risks that regular cigarettes have.

I’m gonna be honest. I am a promoter of e-cigarettes but trust me, they are an amazing product and will save many lives.

  6. I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.
