Here in 'Swindon', Wiltshire. The premium is to raise money is on car parking charges, and how!! (Indiscriminately). The place concerned, is "The Great Western Hospital" . Where 14 nurses were slapped with £50 parking fines, two day's ago, and this is not the first time other nurses have been occasioned likewise. Nurses who live at excessive distances need to run a car to work, (these nurses would need to change buses twice, there and back.) They have to pay £60. for a yearly car permit. These poor woman come to work and there is no staff places left, so the are forced to go into visitors parking places, to get fined. There are 16 buses to run 3,400 staff to work, either on car share,or using their cycles. This hospital , along with Swindon Council parking Wardens are reckoned to charge the highest fines in the country, according to a TV documentary. ****Profits shared!! This Hospital was built as as replacement for "The Princess Margaret" in Swindon, though a beautiful building, there is far less bed spaces in this hospital, with an expanding population, built in the middle of nowhere. But the problem is the Council and hospital administration. They have no common sense and are ridge-d with rules and regulations.
